(optional) 5:00 pm Farmer meet and greet networking time 5:30 pm Crosshatch hosted live and in-person viewing party of a statewide cooperative learning webinar entitled "Coops 101: How Cooperatives Work and Development Basics, presented by MSU Extension". Participants who attend will learn: - Diverse examples of the co-op business model - Seven cooperative principles - Feasibility, steps, and timeline to develop a co-op - Legal ways to incorporate a co-op and other business types Presenters: ● Chris Bardenhagen, Farm Business Management Educator - MSU Extension ● Parker Jones, Innovation Counselor - MSUE Product Center 6:30 pm: Afterwards (optionally) head to the Boardman Review/MI Farm Co-op Video screening and Q&A, 6-8 pm at Loco Boys Brewing, Traverse City.
